South Carolina High School Softball - Notre Dame Academy bested by Wilson Hall
April 15, 2025: Sumter, SC 29150 The Wilson Hall Barons triumphed over the visiting Notre Dame Academy Eagles softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Barons meet the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC) in a SCISA AAAA Region III challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Wilson Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Swampcats enter the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 22-16 non-league win over Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC).
The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph Hill Academy (Staten Island, NY). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph Hill Academy was routed by Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY), 12-5, in a league challenge.
