Virginia High School Softball - Waynesboro bested by Staunton
April 15, 2025: Staunton, VA 24401 The Staunton Storm triumphed over the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants softball squad by a count of 29-19 in Tuesday's league game.
With the triumph, Staunton upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Storm travel to Riverheads (Staunton, VA) to play the Gladiators in a Shenandoah game on Thursday, April 17. The Gladiators enter the game with a record of 1-4. Riverheads lost 13-3 in their recent non-league game against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA)
The Little Giants now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a non-league game on Monday, April 21. Waynesboro will play a Flying Flucos squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 5-2.
