In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Radford Bobcats baseball team scored a close 14-10 victory over the Galax Maroon Tide.

The Bobcats (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Three Rivers game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Carroll County held off Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 5-1, in a league game.
