April 16, 2021: Indianapolis, IN 46205 In Friday's non-league contest, the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 17-2.
With the triumph, Waldron moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Mohawks host Columbus Christian (Columbus, IN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 17. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Columbus Christian lost 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN)
In their next game, the Deaf Hoosiers play the Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 19. Indiana School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 13-3 league loss to North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN).
