Illinois High School Softball - Agape Christian bounces Cobden
April 16, 2024: Cobden, IL 62920 Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cobden Appleknockers (Cobden, IL), 14-1 in a league challenge.
The Knights now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dongola for a South Egyptian challenge on Friday, April 19. Agape Christian will battle a Demons squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Century (Ullin, IL). The Demons record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Cobden falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Appleknockers host Elverado (Elkville, IL) to battle the Falcons in a South Egyptian challenge on Friday, April 19. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 11-8. Elverado won 15-4 in their recent league challenge against Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL)
