Ohio High School Softball - Botkins holds off Kalida
April 16, 2024: Kalida, OH 45853 Botkins Trojans (Botkins, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kalida Wildcats (Kalida, OH), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Perry for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. Botkins will battle a Commodores squad coming off a 17-4 league win over Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Commodores record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Kalida falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host McComb (McComb, OH) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. McComb lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH)
