Tennessee High School Softball - Lakeway Christian Academy bounces Grainger
April 16, 2024: Rutledge, TN 37861 Lakeway Christian Academy Lions (Morristown, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host Claiborne for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Lakeway Christian Academy will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-11 league win over Cherokee (Rogersville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Grainger falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Washburn (Washburn, TN) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Washburn lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Hancock County (Sneedville, TN)
