Washington High School Softball - Wapato bounces Mabton
April 16, 2024: Mabton, WA 98935 Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mabton Vikings (Mabton, WA), 20-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sunnyside for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. Wapato will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 6-2 league win over West Valley (Yakima, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Mabton falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
