Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fallston for a Upper Chesapeake Bay challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Rising Sun will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Bel Air (Bel Air, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Patterson Mill falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The host Harford Tech (Bel Air, MD) to battle the Cobras in a Upper Chesapeake Bay challenge on Wednesday, April 17.
