Virginia High School Baseball - Solvay nips Chilhowie
April 16, 2025: Chilhowie, VA 24319 In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Solvay Bearcats baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Chilhowie Warriors.
The Bearcats (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Westhill (Syracuse, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Westhill nudged Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY), 12-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Warriors play the Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 17. Chilhowie will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC).
