The Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA), 11-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starpoint for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. Mercyhurst Prep will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Eisenhower drops to 1-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Corry (Corry, PA) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 21. The Beavers go into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
