In Wednesday's non-league bout, the The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) baseball squad edged the visiting Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV), by a tally of 2-1.

Next up, the Cadets encounter the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 18. The Linsly School will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 8-6 record after their 7-6 league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV).
