North Carolina High School Baseball - Southern Alamance defeats Wheatmore
April 16, 2025: Graham, NC 27253 In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Southern Alamance Patriots baseball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Wheatmore Warriors.
The Patriots (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves go into the Central 3A game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Cedar Ridge was overwhelmed by Orange (Hillsborough, NC), 5-0, in a league game.
Next, the Warriors play the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, April 22. Wheatmore will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 8-10 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).
