In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Southern Alamance Patriots baseball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Wheatmore Warriors.

The Patriots (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves go into the Central 3A game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Cedar Ridge was overwhelmed by Orange (Hillsborough, NC), 5-0, in a league game.
