April 16, 2025: Richmond, VA 23231 The Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) baseball the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA), 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mechanicsville for a Capital challenge on Monday, April 21. Varina will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 8-1 league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.
With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson drops to 4-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Huguenot (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Huguenot lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Cosby (Midlothian, VA)
