Kentucky High School Baseball - St. Xavier holds off Ballard
April 16, 2025: Louisville, KY 40222 The St. Xavier Tigers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Ballard Bruins to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Tigers now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to DuPont Manual for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17.
With the defeat, Ballard drops to 1-4 on the year. The Bruins travel to Male (Louisville, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 9-1. Male won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Oldham County (Buckner, KY)
