The Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) baseball the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 8-5 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Horizon will clash with a Firebirds team coming off a 8-4 league win over Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 11-3.

With the defeat, Mountain Pointe drops to 6-5 on the year. The Pride host Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ) to clash with the Scorpions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Scorpions go into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Desert Edge lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ)
