April 16, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91977 The Southwest SD Raiders lacrosse team (San Diego, CA), was overwhelmed 17-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA)
With the victory, Monte Vista advances its record to 8-8 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Helix (La Mesa, CA) to encounter the Highlanders in a Grossmont battle on Monday, April 21. The Highlanders come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Helix lost 11-9 in their recent non-league battle against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)
The Raiders now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonita Vista for a Metro South Bay battle on Friday, April 18. Southwest SD will encounter a Barons team coming off a 13-6 league win over Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Barons record now stands at 10-6.
