The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) and the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA), observed Eastern Montgomery's softball team notch a victory over Parry McCluer by a final score of 23-5.

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Fighting Blues battle the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Parry McCluer will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
