Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 21-3 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Buckhannon-Upshur advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV) to play the Red Dragons in a WVSLA -DII West game on Wednesday, April 23. The Red Dragons come into the game with a record of 0-6.

The Knights now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont Senior for a non-league game on Saturday, April 19. Preston will play a Polar Bears team coming off a 18-9 league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 5-2.
