North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC), 16-9 in a non-league game.

With the victory, North Cross advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 5-5.

The Furies now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlotte Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. Forsyth Country Day will play a Knights team coming off a 14-7 league loss to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 6-6.
