April 16, 2025: Athens, GA 30601 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) soccer team routed the visiting Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA), by a tally of 7-2.
Next, the Eagles face the Loganville Christian Academy Lions (Loganville, GA) in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 4 contest, on Thursday, April 17. Athens Christian will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-11 record after their 10-0 league loss to Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA).
The Tigers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Madison County was overwhelmed by Athens Academy (Athens, GA), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
