In Wednesday's non-league test, the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Academy at the Lakes Wildcats (Land O' Lakes, FL), by a count of 17-7.

Next, the Royal Knights meet the Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 17-5 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Lecanto (Lecanto, FL).

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Seffner Christian (Seffner, FL). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Seffner Christian toppled Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL), 13-4, in a non-league test.
