The Central Bears triumphed over the visiting Anclote Sharks softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 1-0 league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL).

The Sharks (1-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Cobras enter the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Hudson was routed by Crystal River (Crystal River, FL), 8-1, in a non-league challenge.
