April 16, 2025: Newark, NJ 07104 The Barringer Blue Bears overwhelmed the visiting Newark Central Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 17-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Bears meet the Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 16. Barringer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 12-0 league loss to Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ).
The Blue Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Side (Newark, NJ). The Roughriders go into the SEC - Freedom challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, West Side toppled East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
