Ohio High School Softball - Briggs bounces Independence
April 16, 2025: Columbus, OH 43223 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) and the visiting Independence 76ers (Columbus, OH), observed Briggs's softball team prevail over Independence by a tally of 16-0.
The Bruins (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mifflin (Columbus, OH). The Punchers go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record.
In their next game, the 76ers clash with the Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Independence will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH).
