Missouri High School Softball - Butler bounces La Monte
April 16, 2025: La Monte, MO 65337 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Butler Bears (Butler, MO) and the host La Monte Vikings (La Monte, MO), observed Butler's softball team prevail over La Monte by a tally of 19-2.
The Bears (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Versailles (Versailles, MO). The Tigers go into the Class 2 District 8 bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Versailles was routed by Adrian (Adrian, MO), 15-14, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Northwest Mustangs (Hughesville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. La Monte will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Cole Camp (Cole Camp, MO).
