In Wednesday's non-league test, the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), by a tally of 12-0.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. Franklin Regional will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Mars (Mars, PA).

The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Penn-Trafford prevailed over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA), 18-2, in a league test.
