The Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) softball routed the host Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI), 14-9 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Beavers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olivet for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 17. Harper Creek will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Northwest moves to 1-1 on the season. The Mounties travel to Charlotte (Charlotte, MI) to encounter the Orioles in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 17. The Orioles come into the outing with a record of 0-5.
