Illinois High School Softball - Warrensburg-Latham bounces MacArthur
April 16, 2025: Decatur, IL 62522 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals softball team scored a nice 17-1 victory over the MacArthur Generals.
The Cardinals (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Heyworth was routed by Fisher (Fisher, IL), 9-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) in a Central State Eight match, on Thursday, April 17. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 1-8 record after their 18-8 league win over MacArthur (Decatur, IL).
