New Jersey High School Softball - Newark Academy succumbs to Montclair
April 16, 2025: Livingston, NJ 07039 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), by a tally of 11-1.
Next, the Mounties clash with the Hoboken Redwings (Hoboken, NJ) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 18. Montclair will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Redwings go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 16-5 league loss to Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ).
The Minutemen (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers go into the SEC - Liberty test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Glen Ridge was routed by Verona (Verona, NJ), 11-6, in a league test.
