Oklahoma High School Baseball - Pocola edges Checotah
April 16, 2026: Checotah, OK 74426 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) and the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), saw Pocola's baseball team gain a win over Checotah by a tally of 6-3.
The Indians (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah held off Sperry (Sperry, OK), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the Warner Eagles (Warner, OK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 17. Checotah will attempt to upgrade on its 24-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-19 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Dewar (Dewar, OK).
