The Apollo Hawks softball squad (Glendale, AZ), was routed 11-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ)

With the triumph, Shadow Ridge improves its record to 6-15 on the year. The Stallions travel to Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ) to face the Monsoon in a 6A West Valley contest on Tuesday, April 21. The Monsoon enter the contest with a record of 5-17. Valley Vista lost 18-3 in their recent league contest against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ)

The Hawks now hold a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Cesar Chavez for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 22. Apollo will face a Champions squad coming off a 19-7 league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 8-7.
