The Port Barre Red Devils baseball team (Port Barre, LA), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA)

The Greyhounds now hold a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Beauregard for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 20. Welsh will confront a Knights team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Florien (Florien, LA). The Knights record now stands at 27-3.

Next, the Red Devils confront the Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 19. Port Barre will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 5-18 record after their 8-5 league win over Crowley (Crowley, LA).
