The Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) softball the visiting Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA), 8-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Buckhorns (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans go into the Lackawanna 2 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, North Pocono by Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
