Virginia High School Baseball - Eastern View holds off Liberty
April 17, 2023: Culpeper, VA 22701 Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 8-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Eastern View upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA) to battle the Cougars in a Battlefield test on Tuesday, April 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 8-2. Courtland won 10-4 in their recent league test against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA)
With the defeat, Liberty falls to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sherando (Stephens City, VA) to battle the Warriors in a Northwestern test on Tuesday, April 18. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 6-6. Sherando won 17-7 in their recent league test against Handley (Winchester, VA)
