New York High School Lacrosse - Islip overwhelms Southampton
April 17, 2023: Islip, NY 11751 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Islip Buccaneers (Islip, NY) and the visiting Southampton Mariners (Southampton, NY), saw Islip's lacrosse team top Southampton by a margin of 13-3.
The Buccaneers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY). The Phantoms enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Bayport-Blue Point beat Miller Place (Miller Place, NY), 13-5, in a league challenge.
The Mariners (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenport-Southold-Mattituck (Greenport, NY). The Porters enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Greenport-Southold-Mattituck was overwhelmed by Miller Place (Miller Place, NY), 13-7, in a non-league challenge.
