Westhampton Beach Hurricanes (Westhampton Beach, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats (Shoreham, NY), 11-10 in a league battle.

The Hurricanes now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Islip for a Section 11 I battle on Wednesday, April 19. Westhampton Beach will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY). The Lions record now stands at 7-0.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Rocky Point Eagles (Rocky Point, NY) in a Section 11 II battle, on Wednesday, April 19.
