New York High School Lacrosse - Amherst Central overwhelms Wilson

April 17, 2023: Amherst, NY 14226

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Wilson Lakemen (Wilson, NY), saw Amherst Central's lacrosse team overcome Wilson by a margin of 9-2.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans come into the Class C battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Starpoint held off Medina (Medina, NY), 7-4, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Lakemen clash with the Medina Mustangs (Medina, NY) in a Class D battle, on Wednesday, April 19. Wilson will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 19-7 league loss to East Aurora (East Aurora, NY).
