Missouri High School Softball - Plato bounces Crane
April 17, 2023: Plato, MO 65552 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Plato Eagles (Plato, MO) and the visiting Crane Pirates (Crane, MO), saw Plato's softball squad nip Crane by a count of 18-14.
The Eagles now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mansfield for a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. Plato will face a Lions squad coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Forsyth (Forsyth, MO). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Crane falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Pirates host Hollister (Hollister, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 18. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-17. Hollister lost 16-1 in their recent non-league match against Lamar (Lamar, MO)
