New York High School Softball - South Bronx Community nudges Varsity Opponent
April 17, 2023: Bronx, NY 10456 South Bronx Community Spartans (Bronx, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a game on Tuesday, April 18.
In their next game, the clash with the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 18. Varsity Opponent will attempt to improve on its 11-35 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 52-8 league win over Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC).
