Virginia High School Baseball - Richlands loses to Fort Chiswell
April 17, 2024: Max Meadows, VA 24360 The Fort Chiswell Pioneers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado to 2 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pioneers (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Mountain Empire match with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Grayson County nudged George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 14-3, in a league outing.
Next, the Blue Tornado face the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) in a Southwest outing, on Thursday, April 18. Richlands will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Scarlet Hurricanes enter the outing with a 6-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
