April 17, 2024: Hillsville, VA 24343 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) and the visiting Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), saw Carroll County's soccer squad triumph over Galax by a margin of 5-0.
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Radford for a non-league test on Thursday, April 18. Carroll County will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Galax drops to 1-2 on the season. The Maroon tide host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 24. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Fort Chiswell won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Richlands (Richlands, VA)
