Ohio High School Lacrosse - Hoover tipped by St. Ignatius
April 17, 2024: Cleveland, OH 44113 St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) boosters went home happy Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 9-7 in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 19. St. Ignatius will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Polar Bears enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Wooster (Wooster, OH).
The Vikings now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Wadsworth for a Region 2 contest on Saturday, April 20. Hoover will confront a Grizzlies squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-3.
