Georgia High School Baseball - Academy for Classical Education nips Lake Oconee Academy
April 17, 2025: Macon, GA 31210 In Thursday's non-league game, the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons baseball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Lake Oconee Academy Titans.
The Gryphons (18-10) will now prepare for their game against Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Golden Hawks go into the A D1 Region 2 game with a 21-7 record. In their last game, Washington County nudged Thomson (Thomson, GA), 8-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Titans play the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 19. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Redskins go into the game with a 25-2 record after their 16-0 league win over Towers (Decatur, GA).
