The Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Cary Imps (Cary, NC), 11-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they host Green Level for a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Apex Friendship will clash with a Gators team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Gators record now stands at 6-15.

With the defeat, Cary drops to 4-13 on the year. The Imps travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Green Hope won 8-2 in their recent league challenge against Apex (Apex, NC)
