April 17, 2025: Butler, NJ 07419 The Butler Bulldogs baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Morris Catholic Crusaders to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Lakes for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Butler will play a Lakers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Morris Catholic drops to 3-7 on the year. The Crusaders host High Point (Sussex, NJ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 7-1. High Point won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ)
