April 17, 2025: Little River, KS 67457 The Little River Redskins baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Ellsworth Bearcats to 3 in the Redskins non-league win on Thursday.
The Redskins now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host Remington for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. Little River will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 15-3 league win over Trinity (Hutchinson, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, Ellsworth drops to 2-8 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Sacred Heart (Salina, KS) to clash with the Knights in a North Central AA test on Tuesday, April 22. The Knights go into the test with a record of 5-4. Sacred Heart won 4-3 in their recent league test against Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS)
