April 17, 2025: Gladwin, MI 48624 The Pinconning Spartans baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Gladwin Flying G's to 4 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to All Saints Central for a non-league test on Friday, April 18. Pinconning will play a Cougars team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Mayville (Mayville, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Gladwin drops to 2-2 on the year. The Flying g's travel to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI) to play the Beavers in a Jack Pine test on Tuesday, April 22. The Beavers go into the test with a record of 4-1. Beaverton lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI)
