In Thursday's non-league bout, the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), by a tally of 14-3.

Next up, the Celtics encounter the Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Providence Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bruins enter the bout with a 18-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Oldham County (Buckner, KY).

The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mooresville (Mooresville, IN). The Pioneers enter the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Mooresville overcame Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN), 5-3, in a league bout.
