The Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) baseball got by the visiting Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 5-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arendell Parrott Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Harnett Central will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Overhills drops to 12-6 on the year. The Jaguars travel to South View (Hope Mills, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 11-8. South View lost 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)
